//////// T-thank you!!  💖 💖 It kinda hurt my feelings a little because I really REALLY admire Blushmallet! OF COURSE i’d try to be like them! I don’t wanna rip them off or copy them too closely but I was trying to learn how to shade like them, and obviously they have beautiful lineart. I am inspired by them among other great artists! I mean God Damn I HOPE someday my art can look like Blushmallet’s or SpaceNarval’s! Its kind of flattering they thought my art looked like theirs. It’s no where close though if you’ve got an artists eye haha…. Anon probably doesn’t draw. EVERYONE has another artist they may not even be aware of that’s got a similar style. There’s 7 billion people in the world…. things are bound to repeat or show similarity. But anyway, that’s how I learn and one of the only things that makes me even feel like drawing anymore these days is seeing other peoples amazing work! I hope it’s ok that I take notes from artists. I know some are oversensitive about that sort of thing but I mean.. and not that it’s what I was trying to do, but style-copying is an important skill! No ONE person makes a cartoon or amazing show(SU lmao, people gotta learn to match the style, the closer the better). I want to develop my style into something I love! Every artist creates their own style from taking in an amalgam of content and taking bits and pieces from them all that they love. That’s life. I believe any artist worth their salt would be flattered to have others inspired by them. If someone took notes from my art, i’d know i’d achieved something. Gosh, the more I think about it the more previous anon just doesn’t get ‘art life’ lol. We’re a family. 

If someone draws in the SU style nobody says ‘Stop trying so hard to be Rebecca Sugar’. Grow Up.
